ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਬੀਤ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਕੁਝ ਕਰੋ,

ਇਹ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ,

ਇਹ ਸਾਹਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਪਾਇਪ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਡਿੱਗ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ,

ਕੁਝ ਤਾਂ ਬਚਾ ਕੇ ਸਾਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਢੋਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰੋ,

ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਬੀਤ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਕੁਝ ਕਰੋ,

ਵਕਤ ਅੱਜ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਨਹੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੋਲ,

ਕੀ ਪਤਾ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਆਵੇ ਨਾਂ ਆਵੇ,

ਕੋਈ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਵੇ ਨਾਂ ਭਾਵੇ,

ਜੇ ਹਾਰ ਗਏ ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਹੋਇਆ,

ਜਿੱਤਣ ਲਈ ਜਿੱਤ ਹਜ਼ੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਹੈ,

ਨਾ ਹੌਸਲਾ ਹਾਰੋ,

ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਹੌਂਸਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੋ,

ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਬੀਤ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਕੁਝ ਕਰੋ,

ਮੌਤ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਹੀ ਦੇਣੇ ਉਧਾਰੇ,

ਬਹੁਤੇ ਗ਼ਮ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਲੈ ਜਾਣੇ ਨੇ ਭਾਰੇ,

ਕਿਓ ਖੜੇ ਓ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਚ,

ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਨਾ ਡਰੋ,

ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਬੀਤ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਕੁਝ ਕਰੋ,

ਮੈ ਟੁੱਟੇ ਤਾਰੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਮੋੜਾਗੀ,

ਹੱਥਾਂ ਚ ਹੱਥ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਆਪਣੇ,

Where did your friends go,

Found sitting together,
